To say I was excited to attend The Vampire Diaries panel at Paleyfest is an understatement. Being a fan of a show and then having the opportunity to see some of your favorite cast members up close is a thrill! Being able to see their sense of humor and personalities, aside from their characters, there isn’t anything better for a fan (except maybe to touch Ian Somerhalder or have him put his arm around you when you take a photo with him and confess your unquenchable lust…)

Ahem, I digress. Sadly, I did NOT get a picture or autograph. The stampeding crowd scared the wits out of me so I left wanting to keep all my limps attached.

And one of the highlights of the evening (and there were plenty) for me is finding out about Matt Davis and his fanfiction. Find out more through his alter ego @ErnestoRiley

I will tell you that Julie Plec is adorable! I love her enthusiasm for the show and to see how much she cares about the characters.
