WATCH TRAILER! Syfy Acquires THE ALMIGHTY JOHNSONS From New Zealand’s All3Media

Syfy is on a roll with acquiring series. The latest edition to their respective lot hails from New Zealand – The Almighty Johnsons. With a host of acquired series – Lost Girl, Continuum, Sinbad, and Primeval: New World – I’m curious to see how American audiences will embrace another foreign series. In light of so many U.S. series getting canceled, importing series from other countries seems to be successful for Syfy. I wonder if this will be a trend for other networks.
