Yes, you read that title correctly. Our favorite Santa Barbara fake psychic team faces all manner of things when Psych returns for its sixth season on Wednesday, October 12 at 10/9c on the USA Network where, as we all know, characters are welcome. And Shawn (James Roday) and Gus (Dulé Hill) definitely fit, wouldn’t you say? Along, of course, with Corbin Benson as Henry Spencer, Timothy Omundson as Detective Carlton Lassiter, Maggie Lawson as Detective Juliet and Kirsten Nelson as Chief Vick.
They will be joined by some heavy-hitting guest stars, including pop culture icon William Shatner as Juliet’s father; Danny Glover and Wade Boggs in a baseball escapade; Kristy Swanson and Corey Feldman in a vampire episode co-written and directed by James Roday; John Rhys Davies in an Indiana Jones inspired episode written and directed by Steve Franks; plus Joey McIntyre of New Kids on the Block fame, Malcolm McDowell, Jason Priestley, Molly Ringwald and WWE Superstar The Miz.
This season, you can expect Shawn to make some grown-up moves in his relationship with Juliet, causing best friend and partner Gus to deal with being the third wheel. And, whether Shawn is a real psychic will be addressed!
Club Psych kicks off fall with an exhilarating digital ride with a massive social media murder whodunit engaging fans via Facebook, Twitter, Club Psych and USA’s Character Chatter. This season includes new levels of Squirrel Assassins, a ’90s Challenge to test your pop-culture smarts, and more installments of the popular Find the Famous Pineapple. In the mobile space, fans can download the new version of the Psych Vision App to get exclusive video like Psych outs, writer commentaries, and a making-of video on the go.
