Following up on our previous post about Quincy Jones’ new stand-up show, HBO has confirmed Thursday, June 2 at 10:00 pm ET/PT as the debut date for Quincy Jones: Burning the Light.
Taped at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles on April 4, the exclusive presentation stars the young stand-up comic who was diagnosed with terminal cancer and told his story in a March 15 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. At the time, Jones expressed his intent to tape a stand-up show that would be his legacy, which led to his HBO deal.
