NEW YORK – September 4, 2013 –  On Thursday, September 12 at 9 p.m./8c, after seven unforgettable seasons, the Emmy®-nominated original drama BURN NOTICE comes to an end that fans won’t want to miss.  As USA Network says goodbye to the series that redefined summer television, questions will be answered and the team will reunite for an explosive conclusion that one beloved character will not survive.

“This final episode is a must-see for any BURN NOTICE fan — whether you’ve been with us since the pilot or just caught the occasional marathon on USA,” said show creator, Matt Nix. “It’s bittersweet to bring the series to an end, but I’m really happy to be leaving viewers with a great series finale.  It’s satisfying and has some major surprises.”

“When BURN NOTICE began in 2007, it was one of the shows that reinvented summer television and helped create a new television-watching season,” said Chris McCumber and Jeff Wachtel, USA Network co-presidents.  “As the series draws to a close, it leaves behind an unparalleled legacy as one of the most popular and transformational shows on television.”

In the farewell episode, Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan) finds himself at the end of the road.  Still at odds with the CIA and unable to forgive himself for betraying his team, he will need to regain the trust of those closest to him to finish what he started.  However, in order to face the last of his demons some sacrifices must be made and lives risked, maybe even his own.

Leading up to the finale event, fans can catch up on the adrenaline-packed series and relive some of their favorite moments through a day-long BURN NOTICE marathon, which begins on Thursday, September 12 at 6 a.m./5c. The marathon will feature three episodes from season six and the complete and final seventh season.

To celebrate the show’s incredible run, USA Network is engaging fans with a full roster of BURN NOTICE social activities including:

· Fan Farewells – USA is inviting fans to get in on the heart-stopping action by sending in their own farewell messages to BURN NOTICE via Instagram, Tout and Vine using #FinalBurn.  Select videos will run on-air and on the show’s official social channels throughout the marathon.
