I am extremely excited that Homeland walked away with the Best Drama Series award, as well as the award for Best Actress in a Drama Series for Claire Danes. That’s because not only am I a hardcore fan, but I reviewed the show weekly during its freshman season and I intend to continue doing so when Homeland returns on September 30 at 10/9c ET/PT on Showtime. I’m also ecstatic that Tom Bergeron and Cat Deely tied for Best Reality Show Host for ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, and Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance, respectively. But this isn’t just about my favorites; it’s about all the award-winning series and people associated with them. And, as far as networks go, NBC was clearly the winner with five shows taking home awards.
