I’ve only recently become a fan of Nurse Jackie having caught up on the series thanks to Netflix. The announcement today that Tony Shalhoub is joining Nurse Jackie not only has me thrilled he is returning to TV, but is a welcome addition to the cast. I’ve been a fan of Shalhoub since he hilariously played the obsessive-compulsive detective Adrian Monk on the USA Network series Monk, which ended its run in 2009. Shalhoub will star as Dr. Bernard Prince, a new ER doctor at All Saints.
