SXSW 2016 – Baron Vaughn talks SXSW, Fairly Legal, and Grace and Frankie

IMG_5517I sat down with Baron Vaughn to talk about what he was doing at SXSW, as well as his series Grace and Frankie, which will have its season two premiere on May 6, 2016 on Netflix.

I’ve been one of Vaughn’s fans since he played Leonardo “Leo” Prince on the USA Network series Fairly Legal. It was fun to hear him take a trip down memory lane, talking about how the legal drama evolved, which eventually contributed to its demise.

I was surprised by how humble Vaughn was as we hung out in an isolated outdoor seating area at his hotel. Turns out it was secluded because of some nearby construction, which Vaughn found amusing.

I love doing interviews like this because they become more of a conversation rather than an actual interview. It’s especially easy when it’s with a guy as nice as Vaughn.

Check out my interview below and then get caught up on the first season of Grace and Frankie, airing only on Netflix

I provide testosterone to the site. You won’t be reading about how nice a actress looks in a dress or how much of a hunk Matt Bomer is in my reviews. I describe colors using words like brown, not taupe. My twitter name is @staffaroadtrip because I love road trips and have done two different 48-state road trips since 2008. My favorite show is White Collar.
