FX has ordered the untitled ‘Fosse/Verdon’ project, an eight episode limited series from award-winning producers Thomas Kail, Steven Levenson and Lin-Manuel Miranda and starring Academy Award® winner Sam Rockwell and four-time Academy Award nominee Michelle WilliamsBased on Fosse, the biography written by Sam Wasson, this eight-part limited series tells the story of the singular romantic and creative partnership between Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon.

NBC’s “Hair Live!,” the original rock musical that is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, has found its directorial duo: Stage director Diane Paulus, the Tony Award-winning director of Broadway’s 2009 Best Revival of “Hair,” will join Emmy Award-winning Alex Rudzinski, who will serve as live television director as he did for “Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert,” which just garnered him an Emmy nomination.

CBS Studios International will host the world premiere screening of the new SHOWTIME limited series, ESCAPE AT DANNEMORA, at MIPCOM 2018. FOX and National Geographic released a first look at the highly anticipated return of the Emmy Award-winning worldwide phenomenon COSMOS. Executive producer/writer/director Ann Druyan, and executive producers Seth MacFarlane, Brannon Braga, and Jason Clark, along with series host, famed pop-culture icon astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, were all on hand to share the sneak peek during their panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2018. Freeform announced that production began Monday on their third original holiday film, “The Truth About Christmas,” from MarVista Entertainment.
