While being a long-time fan of “White Collar” and its interesting and fascinating weekly escapades, I have to say I was a bit let down by the Season 2 finale, “Under the Radar.” I was expecting more excitement, more intrigue, more something—but it didn’t happen.

Despite its not-so-great showing when the series originally launched, Bob Greenblatt, Chairman of NBC Entertainment, announced yesterday that “Law & Order: Los Angeles” would be returning to its schedule on Monday, April 11th at 9:00 pm EST. The show has been re-tooled and will return to its original time slot on Mondays at 10:00 pm EST on April 18th. Encore episodes will begin showing on Wednesdays beginning March 23 (9-10 p.m. ET).

In an effort to promote cultural diversity within the movie industry, the 15th Annual American Black Film Festival’s Star Project, an international acting competition, is again seeking up and coming multi-cultured artists to enter its contest. Contest winners will receive all-expense-paid trips to the 2011 ABFF (July 6-9) in Miami, Florida. One winner will be granted a walk-on role on NBC’s daytime drama, “Days of our Lives.”

Showtime has announced its new and returning shows for the upcoming spring/summer season. I am thrilled to see new seasons for “United States of Tara” and “Nurse Jackie,” as well as the highly touted new show “The Borgias.” Also on the list of news shows is “Web Therapy” starring Lisa Kudrow.

Bravo’s new show, “Pregnant in Heels,” is a bit different from its other reality shows. Premiering on Tuesday, April 5th at 10:00 pm ET/PT, “Pregnant” is a docu-drama that follows maternity concierge Rosie Pope as she gives advice each week to two expectant mothers. From helping to pick out baby names and shotgun wedding planning to rock n’ roll nursery makeovers and daddy boot camps, Pope will handle it all.

I may be giving away my age by saying I am so sad to learn that Jane Russell has passed away. I can remember watching her movies as a young child and I was always fascinated by her. First, I thought my mom looked like her; second, she totally mesmerized me whenever she was on screen. She was so beautiful and just exotic to look at.

I am so happy TV Land has chosen to renew its hit show, “Hot in Cleveland,” for a third season. They certainly deserved it, as not only did the show garner a nomination for Outstanding Performance By An Ensemble in a Comedy Series at the 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® this past January, Betty White won the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series.

I am a loyal fan of “Royal Pains” and truly enjoy watching the show each week. So you can imagine how sad I am that this season has come to a close. True, we got answers to mostly all of the burning questions we had about the season as a whole, but to me, “Listen to the Music” was more like a series finale rather than a season finale. Given that the first season finale was so exciting, to say I was disappointed in this second season finale is putting it mildly.

This season, the USA Network launched Fairly Legal, another one of its most enjoyable quirky character-driven shows. The series revolves around the antics of Kate Reed played by Sarah Shahi, the great-great-granddaughter of a 19th century Persian shah. She is joined on the show by Baron Vaughn, who plays Leonardo, Kate’s assistant, and Virginia Williams, who plays Kate’s stepmother Lauren.
