I am in a state of disbelief. Not only has Fox cancelled “The Chicago Code,” “Human Target,” “Breaking In” and “Lie to Me,” they’ve also cancelled one of my favorite comedies, “Traffic Light.” It’s been quite a bloodbath over at the Fox Network tonight.

Romeo Sent Home – Recap of “Dancing with the Stars-The Results Show,” Week 8
As we all know by now, Romeo was sent home this week. I’m sad to see him go, as I think he brought a lot to the show. I thought Kirstie would be the one leaving, as I predicted in my Recap/Review of last night’s “Dancing with the Stars.” But I guess the voters didn’t see it my way. For a recap of tonight’s show, please continue reading.

Review: United States of Tara, S3, Ep 307 “The Electrifying & Magnanimous Return of Beaverlamp”
Dr. Hattaras’ (guest star Eddie Izzard) theory about D.I.D., among other psychological disorders, comes into scrutiny when a former patient, who thought he was a kite, takes a running leap off a building. Tara’s dark new alter is becoming more intrusive and hazardous to her health. Max pulled his old band Beaverlamp back together for a big birthday bash performance, complete with eyeliner.

Review: The Borgias, Season 1, Ep 107 “Death On A Pale Horse”
I find it odd and darkly humorous that the Pope wishes to go to confessional boasting of Friar Raphael (Edward Petherbridge), who was able to make him feel “clean.” I don’t think an ocean could cleanse this Pope of his filthy sins. It’s one of the scintillating things I love about this show. Irons portrays the most cunning and ruthless religious figure I’ve ever seen. His subtle nuances – the haunting pitch of his voice, his mannerisms, and his facial expressions – are frightfully convincing. It gives me chills sometimes as I watch him.

Macchio Injured, Affecting His Dance. Recap/Review – “Dancing with the Stars” Week 8
Instant dances are back this week so the stars have to be at the top of their game. Not only do they have to do a regular dance, in spite of knowing the style of dance for their second routine ahead of time, they have to choreograph the dance at the drop of a hat when they pick their music tonight. Should be fun, no?

Review – Nurse Jackie, Season 3, Episode 7 – “Orchids and Salami”
One of the character traits I love so much about Jackie is her unfailing devotion to her kids and the ease with which she handles their problems. Watching her calm Grace’s fears about choosing the wrong saint for the Saint Pageant at school is a beautiful thing. I also love that Kevin (Dominic Fumusa) recognizes Jackie for what she’s worth.

“Keeping Up with the Kardashians” Returns for Season Six this June
While I’ve watched “Kourtney and Kim Take New York,” “Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami,” and the latest show in the franchise, “Khloé and Lamar,” I’ve been wondering what Kris Kardashian, Bruce Jenner and their two younger daughters have been up to. Well, I don’t have to wait much longer to watch their newest escapades. Keeping Up with the Kardashians returns for its sixth season on June 12th at 10:00 pm ET/PT on E!

Review: Bones, Season 6, Ep 21 “The Signs in the Silence”
Overall, while I enjoyed the episode, I’m having issues with Brennan’s cold demeanor throughout “The Signs in the Silence.” The case, however, was very interesting, especially the various methods used to deduce the clues and evidence found. I mean, who knew you could use a wisdom tooth to collect isotopes that would determine where you grew up!

Review – Supernatural, Season 6, Episode 20 – “The Man Who Would Be King”
The demon you know and the angel you thought you knew. There’s apparently a very good reason God didn’t bestow freedom of choice upon his heavenly hosts: they don’t make very good choices. Luckily for “Supernatural” fans, writer and director Ben Edlund made some wonderful visual and narrative choices in this week’s Cas-centric episode, “The Man Who Would Be King.”

A Conversation with “In Plain Sight” Executive Producers Ed Decter and John Strauss
With the season premiere of USA’s “In Plain Sight” last Sunday, new Executive Producers Ed Decter and John Strauss were happy to host a conference call to explain their vision for the show’s new season and tell us what we can expect. While I was unable to participate in the call, I was lucky enough to receive the transcript so our fans and followers would know what’s going on.

Review: Justified, Season 2, Season Finale “Bloody Harlan”
I loved “Bloody Harlan” because it was filled to the brim with drama, drama, and then some more drama, with a pinch of humorous sarcasm. To say I was surprised and amazed wouldn’t do “Bloody Harlan” justice. My eyeballs left their sockets because I couldn’t believe what I was seeing while my ears grew bigger so I could hear every word being said.

USA Network To Expand Their Slate of Original Programming
The USA Network is one of my favorite networks to watch, especially in the summer. With their “Character Driven” mantra, they have come up with some very exciting and interesting series that never fail to entertain me! Now, they have 12 more original series in the works, and I can’t decide which ones I’m most looking forward to. Here’s the official announcement, including a brief description of each. Which one do you think will become your favorite?

Review: United States of Tara, Season 3, Ep 306 “The Road to Hell is Paved with Breast Intentions”
Tara’s (Toni Collette) feeling pretty confident that the contract with her alters is working. However, convincing Dr. Hattaras (guest star Eddie Izzard) isn’t going as well as she hoped. Max (John Corbett) struggles with his new job and isnt’ getting the support at home he needs. And Neil invites Charmaine and Tara’s mother Beverly (guest star Pamela Reed) for a visit…unbeknownst to them.

Review: The Borgias, Season 1, Ep 106 “The French King”
“The French King” was kind of a filler episode. They needed to introduce King Charles and his “ugly noggin” to establish Della Rovere’s incessant hatred and willingness to have his homeland invaded in order to depose the Pope. It was also a means to introduce the scandalous Princess Sancia, whom I think brings a bit of needed sexuality the show has been absent of recently.
