I’m speechless—there are too many “holy shit!” moments to count, and I’m not sure I can stand the suspense of waiting seven more days until I can get my next The Walking Dead fix.

Interview with Jennifer Westfeldt and Adam Scott of “Friends with Kids”
I had the distinct pleasure of not only watching a screening of the new movie, Friends with Kids, set to be released Friday, March 9, 2012, but participating in a Q&A with the film’s writer/producer/director/star Jennifer Westfeldt and her co-star, Adam Scott, as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, as I’m sure everyone will but please feel free to check out my review here on YEC.

Best Friends Really Do Make the Best Couples. Movie Review: “Friends with Kids”
Friends with Kids is an enjoyable, funny movie and more likely than not, will be a box-office success. While the subject matter is nothing new, already being compared to When Harry Met Sally and others of its ilk, the dialogue is fresh, the ensemble cast shines, and writer/producer/director Jennifer Westfeldt does an excellent job wearing each hat, especially since she also stars in the movie.

Review: Alcatraz – Season 1, Episode 9, “Sonny Burnett” – Survival of the Fittest – Nightmares, Family Bonds and Revenge
In Alcatraz, the past continues to creep into the present. Sonny Burnett (Theo Rossi of Sons of Anarchy) ends up in prison for kidnapping and puts his life on the line by guaranteeing $100,000 of hidden money to an inmate ‘boss’ in exchange for his safety during his two-year prison stint. When the money can’t be found, his life is endangered, leading to a scary transformation. The new and improved Sonny returns to present-day San Francisco, with vengeance on his mind.

Review: #JustifiedFX “Watching The Detectives” (“ice-cold, remorseless, bottle blonde, sh*t bag killer”)
Raylan – a dirty cop? Who would believe such a thing? Apparently Winona is having some doubts. Limehouse wants to “back the winning side” meaning he’s in Quarles’ corner – things are really taking an interesting turn. And Duffy wants to break Raylan over a step ladder and ride him like a teaser pony! I never expected those words to fall from his lips.

An Arrest, Some Sex and a Stolen Kiss. Review: #Smash – “Let’s Be Bad” @NBCSmash
You may notice this review is slightly less enthusiastic than my previous ones. That’s because the writing is becoming a little too predictable and the show is beginning to move a little too slowly for my taste. I want to yell at Derek and say, “Get a move on, already! Just tell Ivy she’s out and Karen’s in!” What do you all think?

Go Into the Light, Peg. Review: Shameless – “Parenthood” @SHO_Kareem @SHO_Shameless
Sometimes, Shameless pulls some real surprises, and “Parenthood” does a good job of it. Not only does Sheila (Joan Cusack) have a hand in Peg’s (Louise Fletcher) death, but Lip (Jeremy Allen White) leaves home when Fiona (Emily Rossum) tells him it’s “school or leave.” She and Lip had made a pact to finish high school, but he gets expelled because of his antics. Mickey Milkovich (Noel Fisher) wants to kill Frank (William H. Macy) after Frank catches Ian (Cameron Monaghan) and Mickey doing the nasty in the Kash and Grab; and Steve/Jimmy (Justin Chatwin) will try anything to get Fiona back.

Interview: Grimm’s David Giuntoli and Sasha Roiz Talk ‘Grimmstinks’ and ‘Renardisms’ @NBCGrimm
When I found out a conference call with Grimm’s David Giuntoli and Sasha Roiz was scheduled, I immediately put myself on the list of participants. Grimm has become one of my favorite shows this season. Giuntoli and Roiz have a wonderful camaraderie, which comes through loud and clear in this interview. In my opinion, each is a terrific actor and both have a wonderful sense of humor. So, in order for you to understand what ‘Grimmstinks’ and ‘Renardisms’ are, and to find out what’s in store for everyone in the second half of the season, read on.

Review: #JustifedFX “The Man Behind The Curtain” (We ain’t in Kansas, Dorothy and the Wizard sends a Weasel)
What I enjoy most about “The Man Behind The Curtain” is we don’t really get to see the real man behind the curtain. We meet Sammy, the son of the man who calls the shots from Detroit who, in turn, controls Quarles. We also get a glimpse of how Quarles is treated while in Detroit yet, he’s the “swinging dick” (so to speak) in Harlan because he’s the city-slicker in the fancy suits. I love the multifaceted puzzle we are presented with: Arlo calling after his “late wife” up in Noble’s Hollar; Boyd banking with Limehouse for firsthand information; Raylan sleeping in a rented room above a local dive bar (what the…); and Quarles taking orders from his weasel step-brother.

Interview with Jason Isaacs: What to Expect from NBC’s “Awake”
Yesterday, February 27, 2012, Jason Isaacs, the star of NBC’S new intriguing drama, Awake, was kind enough to answer questions about the show and his role as Detective Michael Britten. Awake follows Britten’s life after he finds himself living in two different realities following a car crash: one where his teen son, Rex (Dylan Minnette, Saving Grace), dies in the crash and his wife, Hannah (Laura Allen, Terriers) survives; and the other where Hannah dies, leaving Michael and Rex to pick up the pieces.
