But now that I’ve had a chance to think about things, I’m glad the powers that be are taking Necessary Roughness in a different direction. With Dr. Dani (Callie Thorne) now working at V3, a sports and entertainment management agency headed up by Connor McClane (John Stamos) and his business partner CFO Troy Cutler (David Anders), she will now have access to more than just the New York Hawks’ star receiver Terrence “TK” King (Mehcad Brooks) and his teammates. But why did Nico (Scott Cohen), who is now head of security at V3, get Dani the job in the first place?

Surprisingly, Jinks (Aaron Ashmore) stays behind at the B&B to help Abigail (Kelly Hu) clean the “gooery,” while Pete (Eddie McClintock) and Myka (Joanne Kelly) head to the suburbs to find out who or what is responsible for the unusual deaths of the residents. In the meantime, Artie (Saul Rubinek) and Claudia (Allison Scagliotti) head to the Big Apple to investigate a homeless teenage savant who’s writing mathematical graffiti.

And let’s not forget the sexual romp Zoey and Prentiss engaged in last week, and Coop’s hurt feelings where Carrie is concerned. “Soul” addresses all these issues, and so much more in an episode that simultaneously leaves you both happy and sad.
