TV News: HBO Sports® and NFL Films Announce Long Term Renewal For HARD KNOCKS 1

HBO Sports and NFL Films announced today that they have reached agreement on a long-term extension of the HARD KNOCKS franchise. The first-ever sports reality series is set to return to HBO Tuesday, Aug. 6 at 10:00 p.m. (ET/PT) with an all-new, five-episode edition featuring the Cincinnati Bengals.

Starz Chief Executive Officer Chris Albrecht announced that the network has picked up a second season of the original series, “Black Sails” from executive producer Michael Bay in advance of its first season premiere. The announcement comes on the heels of the exclusive fan screening at San Diego Comic-Con several months in advance of its on-air premiere in January, 2014.
