In my reviews of the new FX drama Fargo, I have praised Allison Tolman, who plays Officer Molly Solverson, for being the heart of the series. Unlike her costars that are big names in Hollywood, Allison is relatively unknown. During a conference call on May 21, I was able to ask her a few questions about her character on the series and the bigger picture for her as an actress.

It resulted in more fatal American casualties than the actual D-Day landings on Utah Beach. In AMERICA’S SECRET D-DAY DISASTER, experts examine a series of major issues leading to unnecessary deaths during the exercise, including the Army-issued life belt that differed from those worn by the Navy and an awful tragedy associated with the M1 helmet, which a large number of the army troops wore.

The Americans Season Finale – “Echo” Retrospective. It’s Never Who You Think It Is.
“Echo” begins with a heart-racing scene as Golden Earring’s “When the Bullet Hits the Bone” plays in the background. Emotions run high in this season finale as Philip (Matthew Rhys) and Elizabeth (Keri Russell) deal with Paige (Holly Taylor); Stan (Noah Emmerich) decides what to do about Nina (Annet Mahendru); and finally, the Connors’ murderer is revealed. If you’ve read my review of “Operation Chronicle,” I totally saw that coming!

Penny Dreadful – “Séance” Review. Chased By Demons.
In the aptly titled “Séance,” there is an actual séance; however, we’ll get into that shortly. First, we meet a few more characters and are reintroduced to one we met briefly in “Night Work.” The latter is the endearingly quirky Ferdinand Lyle (Simon Russell Beale), the curator at the British Museum. We met Mr. Lyle briefly when Sir Malcolm Murray (Timothy Dalton) brought him some unique photographs of Egyptian carvings. Throughout “Séance,” the audience is privy to some disturbing yet intriguing scenes that make it difficult to turn away, in spite of every fiber of your being telling you to do so. One such scene involves Dorian Gray (Reeve Carney) and Brona Croft (Billie Piper).
