Shameless – “Crazy Love” Retrospective. Dilemmas Galore.
Writer John Wells has obviously done his homework to provide such an in-depth look at bi-polar disorder in the aptly titled “Crazy Love.” Cameron Monaghan has too as he steals every scene he’s in. It is incredibly heartbreaking to watch as Ian says goodbye to his loved ones before entering a treatment facility.

Movie Review: The Rewrite – Surprisingly Funny and Unabashedly Charming
The Rewrite is unabashedly charming. The humor is done perfectly without being too sarcastic or constantly in your face. I re-fell in love with Grant while watching The Rewrite. This film is an absolute delight for those who love a good romantic comedy. I found myself becoming sad as the ending drew near because I simply didn’t want The Rewrite to end. In little more than an hour and a half, I fell in love with the quaint town of Binghamton, NY and the students attending Binghamton University. Well, almost all the students.

The Americans – “Open House” Retrospective.
Director Thomas Schlamme knows exactly how to convey emotions without a single word of dialogue. First, with “The Star Spangled Banner” playing in the background, Schlamme uses a tender kiss to portray the love the Jennings have for each other. Then, in a rather squeamish scene where Philip deals with Elizabeth’s dental problem, the camera darts back and forth between Philip and Elizabeth’s eyes, conveying the trust and love between them. This is direction at its best.
