Tension escalates between the Gerhardts and the Kansas City mafia (KC mafia) after negotiations fall apart. Blindspot has quickly become one of my favorite TV shows this fall, and for good reason. It is chock full of suspense, intrigue, riveting story lines and dialogue, and terrific acting, especially by its stars Sullivan Stapleton and Jaimie Alexander. So it comes as no surprise to me that NBC has decided to renew the freshman series for a second season.

This season of Grimm is proving to be quite interesting so far. While some plot points are predictable, particularly in “Clear and Wesen Danger,” the main story line involving the so-called “Wesen uprising” is more cloaked, making it difficult to discern where the writers are taking us. Is it just me or does something feel different about this season? I can’t quite put my finger on it; however, it leans heavily on the ominous side of things. I like it…a lot actually. “Clear and Wesen Danger” feels dark, like something terrible lurks nearby…and it’s not just the “Quijada Vil,” the scary new Wesen we meet.

Syfy and The Asylum today announced that scripted drama series Z Nation will be back to Z-Whack its way through a third season of zombie road trippin’ action. A 15-hour third season is slated to premiere on Syfy in 2016. Z Nation takes place three years after a zombie virus gutted the country. A team of everyday heroes is tasked with transporting the only known survivor of the plague across the country to the last functioning viral lab in post-apocalyptic America, in hopes of using his blood to create a cure for the virus.

I know, I know. Thanksgiving isn’t even here yet but I’m more than ready for the 2015 holiday season. As is tradition at CBS, the network is kicking off its holiday programming schedule on Thursday, November 26 with The Thanksgiving Day Parade beginning at 9:00 am ET. Also in November, viewers will enjoy Frosty the Snowman, Frosty Returns, and The Story of Santa Claus. Syfy’s highly-anticipated 10-hour series The Expanse will debut its first episode Monday, November 23 on a variety of VOD, TV Everywhere and digital platforms, three weeks ahead of its linear debut on the network. The series premieres on Syfy with a two-night premiere Monday, December 14 and Tuesday, December 15 at 10PM ET/PT, and continues on Tuesdays at 10PM for the remainder of the season. Strange occurrences keep happening in the library in “And the Broken Staff” and Jenkins (John Larroquette) remains mum on the situation. I’m sure he has a grand idea that will fix it all…right? Then again, the way the library returned last season from the void has caused things to go out of whack. If you recall from season one, Flynn used blood in the story book to reopen the library’s doors. What happened to the library while it was in the void?

Our trusted librarians, well, most of them, return for a second season of wondrous adventures but this time, magic has returned and with it, mayhem and confusion galore. Our librarians – Jake Stone aka “Stone” (Christian Kane), Cassandra Cillian (Lindy Booth), Ezekiel Jones aka “Jones” (John Kim), and Flynn Carsen (Noah Wyle) – along with their guardian Eve Baird (Rebecca Romijn), have their work cut out for them as they battle the forces of evil while dealing with their own personal issues. Oh, and the Library is acting strangely. No biggie.
