In this day and age, with the subject of racism, immigrants, and anti-Semitism on many people’s minds, the release of After Auschwitz seems most appropriate. Telling the tale of six female survivors of the Holocaust, Eva Beckmann, Rena Drexler, Renee Firestone, Erika Jacoby, Lili Majzner, and Linda Sherman, this new documentary film explains how these immigrants carried on with their lives in America against all odds.
