THE CIRCUS GETS GLOBAL THIS SUNDAY ON SHOWTIME®

White House diplomacy shifts from bromance to chillier conversations in a matter of days as French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel visit President Trump to discuss the Iran nuclear deal and other pressing global priorities.

On the new episode of THE CIRCUS, titled “Man of the World,” this Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME, the team goes behind-the-scenes at the White House for the visits from both European leaders. Former State Department official Wendy Sherman weighs in on the fragile status of the Iran nuclear deal – an issue soon to be inherited by the recently confirmed Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who THE CIRCUS discusses during an interview with Senator Bob Corker.

Trump’s domestic legal woes and political controversies also threaten to overshadow his efforts at global statesmanship, seen during an interview with Anthony Scaramucci and as THE CIRCUS joins Imam Ismail Elshikh as he heads to the Supreme Court for oral arguments in Trump v. Hawaii, the “travel ban” case.
