LOS ANGELES, CA (SEPT. 10, 2012) – FX and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, announced today the new and improved Sons of Anarchy app. The all new app combines the best features from the legacy SOA app and the SOA Gear app creating an immersive, interactive experience with exclusive features, e-commerce and a feature rich, virtual view of the SOA clubhouse!
With the Sons of Anarchy app, now available at the App StoreSM and Google Play, fans can sync in real time with the show or use the Season 4 Blu-ray Disc to shop for authentic merchandise they see on screen or licensed goods. In addition, fans can connect over social networks within the app, explore added features including alternate scenes, character bios, production stills, storyboards, show facts and trivia and much more. New features and merchandise will be added weekly as the new season progresses following the broadcast premiere on September 11 on FX at 10PM.

Starring Charlie Hunnam, Ron Perlman and Golden Globe® Award winner Katey Sagal, Sons of Anarchy is the highest-rated series ever on FX. The premiere episode of season four (9/6/11) was the most-watched program in FX history, with 6.5 million Total Viewers.

The most popular items with fans are the SAMCRO Hoodie ($49.95), Lois Hill Saddle Ring ($188) worn by Gemma (Katey Sagal) and the KD 2120 Sunglasses ($10) worn by Jax (Charlie Hunnam). The SOA app has been downloaded more than 425,000 times since its release.

Sons of Anarchy was created by Kurt Sutter who also serves as Executive Producer along with John Linson, Art Linson and Paris Barclay. The series is produced by FX Productions and Fox 21.
