Throughout the special, Armitage, Boreanaz, Feuerstein, Moore, Moynihan and Piven will introduce their new series with a mix of “first look” behind-the-scenes moments, cast interviews, and select scenes from the shows’ premiere episodes.
YOUNG SHELDON is a comedy about 9-year-old Sheldon Cooper (Iain Armitage), who finds it isn’t easy growing up in East Texas. Being a once-in-a-generation mind capable of advanced mathematics and science isn’t always helpful in a land where church and football are king. And while the vulnerable, gifted and somewhat naïve Sheldon deals with the world, his very normal family must find a way to deal with him. Zoe Perry, Lance Barber, Annie Potts, Raegan Revord and Montana Jordan also star. THE BIG BANG THEORY’s multiple Emmy Award winner Jim Parsons narrates the comedy as adult Sheldon. The series premieres Monday, Sept. 25 (8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT) and moves to Thursdays (8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT) as of Nov. 2.
ME, MYSELF & I stars Bobby Moynihan, Jack Dylan Grazer and John Larroquette in a comedy about the defining moments in one man’s life over three distinct periods – as a 14-year-old in 1991 (Grazer), at age 40 in present day (Moynihan) and at age 65 in 2042 (Larroquette). Brian Unger, Jaleel White, Kelen Coleman, Christopher Paul Richards, Mandell Maughan, Skylar Gray, Reylynn Caster and Sharon Lawrence also star. The series premieres Monday, Sept. 25 (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT) and moves to 9:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT on Monday, Oct. 30.
SEAL TEAM is a new military drama that follows the professional and personal lives of the most elite unit of Navy SEALs as they train, plan and execute the most dangerous, high stakes missions our country can ask of them. David Boreanaz stars as Jason Hayes, the respected, intense leader of the Tier One team whose home life has suffered as a result of his extensive warrior’s existence. Max Thieriot, Neil Brown Jr., AJ Buckley, Toni Trucks and Jessica Paré also star. The series premieres Wednesday, Sept. 27 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT).
WISDOM OF THE CROWD is a drama starring Jeremy Piven as a visionary tech innovator who creates a cutting-edge crowdsourcing app to solve his daughter’s murder, and revolutionizes crime solving in the process. Richard T. Jones, Natalia Tena, Monica Potter, Blake Lee and Jake Matthews also star. The series premieres Sunday, Oct. 1 (8:30-9:30 PM, ET/PT). **(Football doubleheader)
9JKL stars Mark Feuerstein in a family comedy inspired by his real life. Josh Roberts (Feuerstein) is a new divorcé and actor between projects who moves home to New York to regroup, living in an apartment sandwiched between his doting, meddlesome parents (Linda Lavin, Elliott Gould) on one side and his brother (David Walton), sister-in-law (Liza Lapira) and their new baby on the other. Matt Murray and Albert Tsai also star. The series premieres Monday, Oct. 2 (8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT).
S.W.A.T., inspired by the television series and the feature film, stars Shemar Moore as a locally born and raised S.W.A.T. sergeant newly tasked to run a specialized tactical unit that is the last stop in law enforcement in Los Angeles. Stephanie Sigman, Jay Harrington, Alex Russell, Lina Esco, Kenny Johnson and Peter Onorati also star. The series premieres Thursday, Nov. 2 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT).
