Hit The Road is about the greatest family band you’ve never heard of – yet! This chaotically dysfunctional family of would-be rock/pop stars traverse the country in a cramped tour bus sacrificing privacy, comfort and dignity while in search of fame and fortune. Struggling to navigate their lives and relationships while juggling what’s best for the family versus what’s best for the band, they invariably end up making very unfortunate decisions. Yet nothing will stop them from claiming their rightful place in pop history.

The series centers on Sam Loudermilk, a recovering alcoholic and substance abuse counselor with an extremely bad attitude about, well, everything. He is unapologetically uncensored, and manages to piss off everyone in his life. Although he has his drinking under control, Loudermilk discovers that when your life is a complete mess, getting clean is the easy part.Starring Golden Globe Nominee Ron Livingston (Office Space, The Conjuring, Sex in the City), and Will Sasso (“MADTV”). Peter Farrelly (Dumb and Dumber, Shallow Hal, Something About Mary) and Emmy® Award-winning writer Bobby Mort (The Colbert Report) created Loudermilk. Farrelly, Mort, AUDIENCE Network’s Christopher Long and Primary Wave’s Mark Burg David Guillodand David Guillod will serve as executive producers. Jonathan Schwarz will serve as producer.
