TUMBLEDOWN STARRING JASON SUDEIKIS AND REBECCA HALL

Blythe Danner and Joe Manganiello In Final Cast
DEVENS, MASSACHUSETTS – March 31, 2014 – TUMBLEDOWN, a romantic comedy starring Jason Sudeikis and Rebecca Hall, has begun principal photography in Devens, Massachusetts, it was announced by producers Kristin Hahn and Bron Studios Aaron L. Gilbert and Margot Hand. Dianna Agron, Blythe Danner, Griffin Dunne, Joe Manganiello and Richard Masur also star. Tumbledown is directed by Sean Mewshaw from an original screenplay by Desi Van Til.
Deep in the Maine woods, Hannah (Hall) is unable to move on after the death of her husband, an acclaimed musician and the subject of a biography she’s struggling to write, when she meets Andrew, a brash New York academic who has a different take on her husband’s life – and death. The unlikely pair must collaborate to craft the famous singer’s story and begin to wirte the next chapter in their lives together.
Sudeikis is well known from Saturday Night Live and such comedies as Horrible Bosses and Hall Pass. He recently starred opposite Jennifer Aniston in We’re The Millers.
Hall co-stars with Johnny Depp in the Wally Pfister directed sci-fi action drama Trancendence and was previously seen in Iron Man 3, The Town, and Woody Allen’s Vicky Christina Barcelona.
Agron was last seen in Luc Besson’s The Family opposite Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer and recently wrapped Zipper opposite Patrick Wilson. Blythe Danner is an Emmy and Tony winning actress known to audiences from Little Fockers, Meet the Fockers and Meet the Parents. Dunne was recently seen in The Dallas Buyers Club. Manganiello appeared in True Blood and Magic Mike. Masur has been seen for the past 40 years in well over 100 films & TV shows.
Mewshaw and Van Til are making their feature directing and screenwriting debuts. Their previous collaboration, the short film Last Night based on a James Salter story, starred Frances McDormand and premiered at the Venice Film Festival. Van Til is currently writing a comedy script for Warner Bros. entitled Married Off based on an original pitch. Van Til and Mewshaw are managed by Anonymous Content.
CAA packaged the project and will be representing North American rights. International sales are being handled by Sierra/Affinity. Financing provided by Bron Studios, CW Media Finance, Corner Piece Capital and Coastal Capital.
