Let’s be honest, most of us won’t be able to make it to Festival de Cannes to partake in the festivites, but the root cause is worthy. “Funds raised at the gala will benefit all three charities and help them bring sustainable programs to the Haitian people quickly and effectively.”

HAITI CARNIVAL IN CANNES
Gala for Haitian Relief will feature a star studded evening of celebrity guests and once in a lifetime auction items including a meet and greet with Bono and an ultimate luxury vacation at the St. Regis in Bora Bora.
Cannes, FR (May 17, 2012) – The Festival de Cannes announced last week that they are proud to welcome Haiti: Carnival in Cannes, a benefit event presented by Giorgio Armani in support of Sean Penn’s J/P Haitian Relief Organization (J/P HRO), Paul Haggis’ Artists for Peace and Justice (APJ) and Petra Nemcova’s Happy Heart’s Fund (HHF), for their united and extraordinary work in Haiti.
An A-list crowd – the sort only the Festival de Cannes can procure – will join Penn, Haggis and Nemcova to offer their support. Guests include Ben Stiller, Gerard Butler, David Schwimmer, Hayley Atwell, Jada Pinkett Smith, Jason Clarke, , and many others. Event Chairs Giorgio Armani, Roberta Armani, CAA’s Bryan Lourd, MPAA Chairman and CEO Chris Dodd and the Festival’s own Thierry Frémaux will also be in attendance.
