TV News: Travel Channel Launches “Travels Best” Seal to Officially Recognize Top 10 Lists
Travel Channel launches the “Travel’s Best” seal, which recognizes TravelChannel.com’s popular and highly-coveted “Best” annual online top 10 lists. TravelChannel.com editors will enlist a panel of experts, including the Network’s on-air talent, that will collaboratively discuss and debate the lists, and determine the 10 best. The winners will be awarded with a “Travel’s Best” icon that can be used to celebrate the honor.

TV News: THE VOICE Returns for Season 5 with Original Judges and All-Star Advisers
NBC’s “The Voice” coaches have chosen multi-platinum singer-songwriters as their respective advisers for the upcoming fifth season. Cher is set to work alongside coach Blake Shelton, Ed Sheeran will join forces with coach Christina Aguilera, Ryan Tedder will work with coach Adam Levine and Miguel will team with coach CeeLo Green.

TV News: Esquire Network Unveils a New Slate of Programming

Con News: Long Beach Comic & Horror Con Welcomes Darick Robertson
Long Beach Comic & Horror Con to announced that Eisner Award nominated artist Darick Robertson will join the 5th anniversary event, on November 23rd and 24th. A famed artist for a number of years, Robertson’s star rose to new heights when he co-created Transmetropolitan with Warren Ellis. Robertson worked on a number of projects for DC and Marvel including Wolverine, Punisher, and The Boys at Dynamite Entertainment.

Movie News: Julien Dubuque International Film Festival Announces Open Call For Early Submissions
Entering into its third year, the Julien Dubuque International Film Festival (JDIFF) is officially open for early submissions. Along with officially opening for submissions, JDIFF also announces some exciting new changes to the Festival in 2014. JDIFF is increasing both the cash prize amounts and categories for winning films. Taking place in Dubuque, Iowa April 24 – 27, 2014, the Festival will award a total of $30,000 in cash prizes over six categories.
