News: FX’s ARCHER Offers “Man-Overs” In NYC Thurs-Fri Jan 9-10
In anticipation of the season five premiere of FX’s hit animated comedy series Archer, a custom-branded glass truck equipped with two barbers and a shoe-shine expert will be hitting the streets of New York to spruce up the look of participating fans in ways that would make Agent Sterling Archer proud. Complimentary services will be available on Thursday, January 9 and Friday, January 10.

Today, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announces its Inductees for 2014. The 29th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The 2014 Ceremony will again be open to the public, as it has been for the Induction Ceremonies in Cleveland (2009, 2012) and Los Angeles (2013). This will be the first time that the ceremony will be open to the public in New York.

TV News: Travel Channel Greenlights Five New Original Series
Travel Channel has greenlit production of five new original series. They include two hosted series, “Eat Secrets” (wt) with foodie Adam Richman and “Resort Recon”(wt), hosted by renowned hospitality consultant Shane Green; plus three additional series under the “Secrets & Legends” umbrella. This new franchise will have dedicated series focusing on a specific type of destination: castles, hotels and national parks.

TV News: FX Sets January 2014 Premieres of Justified, Archer, and Chozen
FX has locked down the January premiere dates of its original series including the Emmy Award-winning drama Justified, the hit animated comedy Archer, and its new animated comedy Chozen, which had been scheduled to run on FXX but now will be paired with Archer for a Monday night animation block. Syfy is teaming up with Bryan Singer (X-Men: Days of Future Past) and his Bad Hat Harry Productions to develop a 90-minute pilot script titled Creature at Bay. Singer and Bad Hat’s Jason Taylor will Executive Produce and Creator/Writer John Cabrera will be Co-Executive Producer. The project is from Universal Cable Productions.
