Syfy Renews Defiance and Dominion
Syfy announced a third season for its original series Defiance, giving a 13-episode order to the action packed drama, and a second season for the epic supernatural thriller Dominion, which will also consist of 13 episodes. Both series are produced by Universal Cable Productions and are slated to return with all-new episodes in 2015.

Syfy Announces 2014 Fall Programming
Syfy’s 2014 Fall Programming primetime lineup will feature the highly anticipated six hour event series Ascension, starring Tricia Helfer (November 24); the series premieres of Z Nation (September 12) and the docuseries Town of the Living Dead (October 7); the season five return of Haven (September 11) and the special 10th anniversary season of Ghost Hunters (October 8). For the seventh consecutive year, Syfy will celebrate the Halloween season with nearly 600 hours of ghoulish programming during the month-long 31 Days of Halloween(October 1-31).

USA Network Announces Pilot Pick Up For Drama COLONY
USA Network announced today the pilot pick-up of, COLONY (Working title), from creator and executive producer Carlton Cuse (“Lost,” “Bates Motel”) and Ryan Condal (“Hercules”). COLONY is a naturalistic drama about a family torn by opposing forces and making difficult choices as they balance staying together with surviving the struggle of the human race. HBO: 99 Emmy® Noms and the Race Is On!
HBO received 99 Primetime Emmy® nominations, the most of any network for the 14th year in a row, for the upcoming 66th Primetime Emmy Awards®, which were announced today in Los Angeles. “Game of Thrones” led all nominees with 19 nominations, while “The Normal Heart” received 16 nominations, “True Detective” received 12 nominations and “Veep” received 9 nominations.
