TV News: USA Network Announces its Development Slate for 2015-2016
Earlier today, USA Network unveiled its ambitious slate of programming for 2015/2016. Among the new shows coming from such luminaries as Charlize Theron, Rob Reiner, Barry Sonnenfeld, Eric Kripke, Aaron Korsh, and Catherine Hardwicke are Paradise Pictures, Starchitects, Amped, The Tap, Mythos, AWOL, Swamplandia!, Coolie & the Tank, Mile High, The Recessionistas, and The Rock untitled project.

TV News: Syfy Greenlights Incorporated to Pilot, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck Pearl Street Productions to Produce
Syfy announced it has greenlit to pilot INCORPORATED, a futuristic espionage thriller from Matt Damon and Ben Affleck’s Pearl Street Productions, CBS Television Studios and Universal Cable Productions. Set in a future where companies have unlimited power, Incorporated tells the story of executive Ben Larson, forced to change his identity in order to infiltrate a cut-throat corporate world, to save the woman he loves. In the process, he will take on the entire system – with deadly consequences.

Showtime Renews House of Lies For Fifth Season
SHOWTIME has renewed HOUSE OF LIES for a fifth season to air in 2016 with 10 episodes. HOUSE OF LIES stars Don Cheadle in his three-time Emmy®-nominated and Golden Globe®-winning performance as Marty Kaan. Cheadle has gone three for three, honored with both Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominations for the past three consecutive years – every year that he has been eligible. Produced by Showtime, the series also stars Kristen Bell (Frozen, Veronica Mars) who plays his razor-sharp partner, along with Emmy winner Ben Schwartz (Parks and Recreation), Josh Lawson (Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues), Donis Leonard Jr. (Criminal Minds) and Emmy winner Glynn Turman (In Treatment).

TV Casting News: Syfy’s Dominion Adds New Recurring Character for Season 2
Production is underway in Cape Town, South Africa for the 13-episode second season of Syfy’s supernatural drama series, Dominion. Joining the series’ stellar cast are recurring guest stars Nic Bishop (Covert Affairs), Simon Merrells (Spartacus: War of the Damned), Christina Chong (24: Live Another Day), Olivia Mace (Doctors) and Luke Tyler (Chronicle). Season 2 of Dominion is set to premiere on Syfy in Summer 2015.

TV News: Smithsonian Channel Set to Premiere Docu-Series Boomtowners April 26
The oil boom that has been drawing thousands of workers to the Bakken shale region of North Dakota and Montana is the subject of a new Smithsonian Channel docu-series. BOOMTOWNERS, comprised of six one-hour episodes, will debut Sunday, April 26 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. The series chronicles the daily lives of people who live and work in the Bakken region, the epicenter of the area’s oil boom. Oil was originally discovered in the area in 1951, but the recent development of hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, has rapidly transformed the Bakken into one of the world’s leading oil-producing regions. Since 2010, when the boom began, production has grown to over one million barrels of oil a day, which has led to lower gas prices in the United States.

HBO announced the name of its standalone premium streaming service – HBO NOW – and that the service will launch this April, bringing the highly anticipated new product to audiences in time for the fifth season of Game of Thrones. HBO and Apple also announced that for the first time an HBO subscription will be made available directly to Apple customers through HBO NOW.

News: Banshee Renewed for Fourth Season on Cinemax
