TV News: Travel Channel Greenlights Second Season of MAN FINDS FOOD
Travel Channel announced today that “Man Finds Food” has been greenlit for a second season. Hosted by comfort food connoisseur Adam Richman (“Man v. Food,” “Man v. Food Nation,” “Fandemonium”), “Man Finds Food” will air on Travel Channel in the United States and across Scripps Networks’ international portfolio of channels in more than 100 countries and territories in summer 2016.

TV News: Discovery Channel’s First-Ever True Crime Series KILLING FIELDS Premieres Jan 5
There are isolated places in America that appear untouched by anyone. But underneath the surface, these beautiful landscapes reveal a much more sinister reality – a dumping ground for bodies and a home to countless unsolved murders. Shot in real time, the series follows the hunt for the killer. KILLING FIELDS will go inside a case that went cold nearly two decades ago in the small community of Iberville Parish, Louisiana, located just 15 miles from the state capitol, Baton Rouge. In June 1997, Louisiana State University graduate student Eugenie Boisfontaine was last seen near LSU’s lakes. Two months later, her body was found nearby in a watery ditch with evidence of blunt force trauma to her head.

TV News: Queen Latifah Lands Lead Role In New Untitled Lee Daniels Music Pilot
Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award, Grammy Award and Golden Globe Award winner Queen Latifah has been cast in a leading role in UNTITLED LEE DANIELS MUSIC PILOT. Written, created and directed by award-winning filmmaker Lee Daniels (EMPIRE, “Lee Daniels’ The Butler”), the new drama pilot follows three young women, who form a girl group with hopes of making it big in the music industry, and the choices with which they’re faced along the way. Tom Donaghy (“The Whole Truth”) will serve as writer and executive producer on the pilot with Daniels. From 20th Century Fox Television, the project begins production this month in Atlanta, GA.

TV News: Spike Lands on Mars With New Scripted Series RED MARS

TV News: Syfy’s Killjoys Season 2 Production Begins In Toronto. Premiere Date Set for July 1
Syfy, Space and Temple Street Productions announced today that production has commenced in Toronto, Ontario for Season Two of the space-adventure series KILLJOYS. The 10-episode second season will air in summer 2016 on Syfy, with Hannah John-Kamen (as “Dutch”), Aaron Ashmore (as “John Jaqobis”) and Luke Macfarlane (as “D’avin Jaqobis”) reprising their roles.
Following the shocking KILLJOYS season one cliffhanger, season two begins with Dutch and John trying desperately to find their brother-in-arms who’s been kidnapped at the hands of Dutch’s duplicitous and mysterious childhood mentor, Khlyen (Rob Stewart, Suits). TV News: TABOO Starring Tom Hard Begins Filming in London – Major Cast Announced For BBC One and FX Drama
TABOO, a major eight-episode drama series created by Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders, Locke) and directed by Kristoffer Nyholm (Danish TV series The Killing, The Enfield Haunting) for BBC One and FX, is to start filming in London this week starring Tom Hardy in the lead role alongside a major international cast.
TABOO will star Hardy as ‘James Keziah Delaney’ who returns to 1814 London after 10 years in Africa to discover that he has been left a mysterious legacy by his father. Driven to wage war on those who have wronged him, Delaney finds himself in a face-off against the East India Company, whilst playing a dangerous game between two warring nations – Britain and America.

TV News: Fox to Air AMERICAN GRIT, a Military Inspired Competition Series Starring John Cena April 2016
FOX has ordered AMERICAN GRIT, a new, 10-episode competition series starring WWE Superstar John Cena. Sixteen of the country’s toughest men and women will be split into four teams as they work together to face a variety of military-grade and survival-themed challenges. Cena and an elite group of mentors from the nation’s most exclusive military units will push these civilians beyond their limits. The mentors, known as “The Cadre,” include Rorke Denver, Noah Galloway, Tawanda “Tee” Hanible and Nick “The Reaper” Irving. These real-life heroes, who represent diverse backgrounds and top branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, will impart their first-hand knowledge and experience to help the competitors work together as teams to surmount near-impossible mental and physical challenges.

TV News: Syfy to Debut THE EXPANSE On VOD, TV Everywhere, and Digital Platforms On Monday, Nov. 23
Syfy’s highly-anticipated 10-hour series The Expanse will debut its first episode Monday, November 23 on a variety of VOD, TV Everywhere and digital platforms, three weeks ahead of its linear debut on the network.
