TV News: Survivalists Go Head-to-Head In Discovery’s New Adventure Series THE WHEEL
Discovery is taking the survivalist genre to the next level with THE WHEEL, the network’s newest series from Pilgrim Media Group. While most survival shows feature just one or two extreme environments, THE WHEEL demands that participants conquer eight distinctly grueling landscapes across the world, each requiring a completely different set of survival skills. With each turn of the Wheel, survivalists must tackle the planet’s most unforgiving terrains – including freezing tundra, parched deserts, rugged mountains and steamy jungles – one immediately after another, with little time to prepare what few tools and materials they have.

TV News: Discovery Channel To Air New Documentary Series COOPER’S TREASURE
In the 1960s, astronauts were rock stars. Gordon “Gordo” Cooper was one of these original icons. He is considered one of NASA’s original space pioneers, uncovering troves of data and taking some of the most iconic photographs of Earth. In 1963 onboard Faith 7, Gordon smashed the record for the longest space flight by completing a 122 hour mission aboard but during this mission he also discovered something incredible… a secret he’d keep for decades.
