TV News: HBO Debuts THREE DAYS OF TERROR: THE CHARLIE HEBDO ATTACKS Sept. 19
On Jan. 7, 2015, two brothers belonging to Al-Qaeda in Yemen stormed the Paris offices of the satiric weekly Charlie Hebdo, killing 11 people and injuring 11 others before killing a French police officer. Amidst a massive manhunt for the killers, an additional five people were murdered and 11 wounded in related attacks over the next two days, including a harrowing standoff between police and a third gunman, claiming allegiance to ISIS, at a kosher supermarket near the Porte de Vincennes in Paris. TV News: Fox New SeriesPITCH and LA Dodgers Host “Take Your Daughter To a Game” Day Sept. 4
On Sunday, Sept. 4, PITCH, the new FOX series about a young pitcher who becomes the first woman to play Major League Baseball, and the Los Angeles Dodgers will host moms, dads and daughters alike at “Take Your Daughter to a Game” day at Dodger Stadium. The family-friendly day will begin before the game, at 11:00 AM, when fans can enter the PITCH Zone Experience, a batting cage where they can step up to the plate and test their skills.

TV News: Showtime Sets Date For GRINGO: The Dangerous Life of John McAfee Sept. 24
A sordid, stranger-than-fiction tale of violence, sex and money, Burstein’s GRINGO: THE DANGEROUS LIFE OF JOHN McAFEE looks at the unfolding and bizarre life of the millionaire businessman. Years after creating the ubiquitous McAfee anti-virus software, McAfee relocates to Belize in 2008 and adopts a quasi-gangster lifestyle that spirals into increasingly unusual behavior. After the mysterious death of his neighbor, he flees to Guatemala in 2012, before returning to the U.S. to seek the 2016 Libertarian Party presidential nomination that was ultimately won by Gary Johnson. Burstein’s expansive examination, highlighted by interviews with McAfee’s former gang associates and girlfriends, and cryptic email exchanges with McAfee himself, reveals new details of the unsolved murder investigation, while uncovering new allegations against him for crimes that were never prosecuted.

TV News: Discovery Channel Acquires Worldwide Rights To Documentary HUNTWATCH Narrated By Ryan Reynolds
HUNTWATCH recounts the compelling chronology of the fight to end the commercial seal hunt in Atlantic Canada. Produced by the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) and narrated by Ryan Reynolds, HUNTWATCH highlights the tumultuous history that is the East Coast Canadian commercial seal hunt. Forty plus years of ongoing activism, that included filming the hunt with an unblinking eye, brought images of the bloody ice floes to people’s television sets and into their homes around the world. The film will air on September 22 as part of the Discovery Impact banner, immediately following a limited theatrical release by Discovery and Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF), and will debut worldwide later this year.

Cinemáx will premiere MOTEL on August 18, 2016 at 10 PM EST. The 6-episode Brazilian series will be the first original Latino series on the premium network. The series explores a variety of cinematic styles, all within the context of the sensual, erotic, mysterious, and perverse activities in one motel, Divine Sin.
