News: Discovery Commissions The Red List Documentary From BBC Studios
Discovery has commissioned a new wildlife conservation documentary from BBC Studios’ Natural History Unit. The Red List is a two-hour ground-breaking film, following the work of dedicated wildlife conservationists across the globe, as they work to compile the latest version of The Red List – the most comprehensive record of the state of the world’s wildlife that has ever been created. The Red List, run by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature, is more than just a list, it’s a barometer of life. The film will give viewers a glimpse inside the worldwide effort to bring endangered species back from the brink of extinction.

HISTORY greenlights the ten episode unscripted series “In Search Of,” hosted and executive produced by Emmy-nominated actor Zachary Quinto (Star Trek, Snowden). Inspired by the iconic 1970s’ franchise, the series will examine unexplained phenomena from all over the world. News: Syfy Renews Happy! For Season 2.
SYFY announced a second season pickup of the network’s original series HAPPY!, starring Christopher Meloni and featuring the voice of Patton Oswalt. News: Documentary Atomic Homefront Debuts on HBO February 12
In 1942, the U.S. government chose downtown St. Louis as a processing center of uranium for the first atomic bombs. Over the next 25 years, the radioactive waste from this processing center was moved to sites throughout the city’s northern and western suburbs, and eventually dumped into the West Lake Landfill in North St. Louis County.
