News: Freeform’s Shadowhunters Ends After Three Seasons With 2-Hour Finale Event in 2019.
Shadowhunters will conclude its saga with the upcoming second half of season three and an epic two-episode special finale. Coming in spring 2019, twelve all-new episodes will culminate in a two-hour series finale event to wrap up the tale of the Shadowhunters and Downworlders that fans have loved over the past three seasons.

News: The CW’s New Series The Outpost Premieres July 10.
“THE OUTPOST” is a 10-hour fantasy-adventure series from Electric Entertainment and Arrowstorm Entertainment, executive producers Dean Devlin (“Stargate,” “The Librarians”), Jonathan Glassner (“Stargate SG-1”), and Jason Faller and Kynan Griffin, who created the series. The Outpost follows Talon (Jessica Green, “Ash vs Evil Dead”), the lone survivor of a race called “Blackbloods.” Years after her entire village is destroyed by a gang of brutal mercenaries, Talon travels to a lawless fortress on the edge of the civilized world, as she tracks the killers of her family. On her journey to this outpost, Talon discovers she possesses a mysterious supernatural power that she must learn to control in order to save herself, and defend the world against a fanatical religious dictator.

News: Mr. Town, Sam Black Crow, and New Media Roles Cast for Season 2 of American Gods.
Starz and FremantleMedia North America (FMNA) announced that Dean Winters (“Divorce,” John Wick), Devery Jacobs (“Cardinal,” “The Order”) and Kahyun Kim (“Shameless,” Freaky Friday) have been cast as Mr. Town, Sam Black Crow and New Media, respectively, in the sophomore season of the critically-acclaimed STARZ Original series “American Gods.” Season two of the eight-episode one-hour scripted drama series returns to Starz in 2019 with Dean Winters cast in guest role as Mr. Town. A strong believer in progress, Mr. Town is tasked by Mr. World (Crispin Glover) to find out what Shadow (Ricky Whittle) knows about Mr. Wednesday’s (Ian McShane) plan. His brutal efficiency and technique just may get him the answers to his curious questions.

News: Lifetime’s Live PD Presents: Women on Patrol and Season 4 of Escaping Polygamy Premieres June 18.
Renowned journalist, author and female empowerment advocate Gretchen Carlson has joined forces with Lifetime for the network’s new Monday night Justice for Women with Gretchen Carlson programming block, centering on shows that highlight women who display courage, bravery and compassion in the pursuit of justice and fairness. The block will feature women at the forefront of law enforcement, series that highlight female survivors and specials that empower women to take back control. Kicking off on June 18, Carlson will host the two-hour programming block with wraps between each show, and also narrate the new series, Live PD Presents: Women on Patrol premiering at 9pm ET/PT. The season four premiere of Escaping Polygamy will bow at 10pm ET/PT.

News: Emmy and Golden Globe Winner Kelsey Grammer Joins Fox’s Legal Drama Proven Innocent.
Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award-winning actor Kelsey Grammer (“Cheers, “Frasier,” “Boss”) has joined the cast of FOX’s upcoming drama, PROVEN INNOCENT. Grammer will play GORE BELLOWS, a hard-as-nails and tough-on-crime state’s attorney, who goes up against an underdog legal team committed to reopening investigations to exonerate the innocent who were “proven” guilty.

The series is centered around a suburban neurotic man in his late twenties who has convinced himself that he’s destined to be one of the best rappers of all time. Now he must convince the world.

News: Sundance TV and BBC One Renew The Split For Second Season.
SundanceTV and BBC One announced that Abi Morgan’’s original drama “The Split,” produced by Sister Pictures, will return for a second season. “The Split” is an authentic, layered exploration of modern marriage and the legacy of divorce through the lens of the Defoes – a family of female lawyers at the heart of London’s fast-paced and emotionally charged divorce circuit.

News: Discovery’s Cooper’s Treasure Returns For All New Season June 22.
Darrell Miklos, treasure hunter by trade and by birth, sets out once again to unearth sunken riches in an all-new season of COOPER’S TREASURE. Video/News: Showtime’s Our Cartoon President Returns with New Episodes July 15.
SHOWTIME has extended the order of its half-hour animated series OUR CARTOON PRESIDENT picking up seven new episodes to air this summer. The series will air the last of its initial 10-episode run on Sunday, April 8 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, and will then continue this summer with seven all new episodes. The political docuseries THE CIRCUS will take over that timeslot with a season premiere on Sunday, April 15 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Baskets, the acclaimed comedy series executive produced by and starring Zach Galifianakis, has been renewed for a fourth season on FX. The recently concluded third season saw the Baskets family attempt to run a rodeo together. In the emotional season finale, the Baskets family gathered to celebrate New Year’s Eve with “Ken” (recurring guest star Alex Morris), who had a question for “Christine” (Louie Anderson).

News: Syfy Renews Krypton For Second Season.
SYFY announced a second season pickup of KRYPTON, the untold Superman story based on DC characters from Warner Horizon Scripted Television. KRYPTON is set two generations before the destruction of Superman’s home planet. The series follows Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe), the legendary Man of Steel’s grandfather, as a young man who is faced with a life and death conflict – save his home planet or let it be destroyed to restore the fate of his future grandson.
