20th Century Faux is a short film series created by Will Blank & Jake Bradbury.
Jake and Will moved to Los Angeles with the dream of making feature films. They made award-winning shorts and worked on other people’s features and television projects. But then, like so many others, they found themselves bogged down in the never-ending development process. 20th Century Faux is their antidote. Instead of waiting for permission to make films, or trying to organize a massive crew and financing, with 20th Century Faux, Jake and Will opted for a minimalist approach. Their plan was to come up with – and execute – 16 short films that could be conceptualized, written and shot in a single day (one short per day), working with friends, and using whatever resources were available.

Amazon Crossing, the literature in translation imprint of Amazon Publishing, announced the acquisition of The Man Who Played with Fire: Stieg Larsson’s Lost Files and the Hunt for an Assassin by Jan Stocklassa, translated by Tara F. Chace for publication on October 1, 2019. Ten years after The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo author Stieg Larsson’s death, journalist Jan Stocklassa gained exclusive access to Larsson’s private archive, uncovering Larsson’s unknown project—research and investigation into the unsolved assassination of Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme. Stocklassa picks up on Larsson’s extensive research and quest to solve one of the most enigmatic murder mysteries in European history.

News: Freeform’s Good Trouble Renewed For Second Season

Good Trouble follows Callie (Maia Mitchell) and Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) as they embark on the next phase of their young adult lives in Los Angeles, as Mariana tackles the male-dominated world of tech and Callie faces the harsh realities of the federal legal system clerking for a federal judge. News: Freeform Announces Party of Five Picked Up To Series With Ten Episode Order
Freeform announces the pickup to series of the reboot of fan-favorite “Party of Five” from the original creators, Amy Lippman and Chris Keyser. From Sony Pictures Television, the one-hour drama will follow the five Acosta children (formerly known as Buendia) as they navigate daily life struggles to survive as a family unit after their parents are suddenly deported to Mexico. The series stars Brandon Larracuente as Emilio, Emily Tosta as Lucia, Niko Guardado as Beto and Elle Paris Legaspi as Valentina. The pilot was co-written by Lippman, Keyser and newcomer Michal Zebede.

FOX is renewing the new celebrity competition series THE MASKED SINGER, this season’s #1 new series and #1 unscripted show, which captivated a massive audience of more than 17 million multi-platform viewers for its debut episode.
