Radical Paranormal Series Ghost Bait Returns To Travel Channel April 4
Paranormal pioneer Bob Magill and empathic investigator Tina Storer take on frightening, personal hauntings in America in the cult classic “Ghost Bait,” lured back to television and premiering on Travel Channel on Thursday, April 4 at 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. ET/PT with 12 half-hour episodes. Using a shocking but effective method of isolation combined with sensory deprivation, the duo help people overcome their fear of intense paranormal activity. Megan Hilty and Jessie Mueller Star As Country Music Legends In New Lifetime Movie Patsy & Loretta
Lifetime has given a green light for the new feature movie, Patsy & Loretta, set to star Megan Hilty (Smash, The Good Wife) as music legend Patsy Cline and Grammy winner Jessie Mueller (Broadway’s Waitress, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) as country icon Loretta Lynn. Debuting later this year, the movie will film on location this month in Nashville, helmed by award-winning director Callie Khouri (Thelma & Louise, Nashville) from a script by Angelina Burnett (The Americans, Genius) Patsy & Loretta also marks a reunion for Meron and Hilty who worked together on the musical series, Smash.

Ethan Hawke To Executive Produce, and Star In New Showtime Limited Series Good Lord Bird
SHOWTIME has ordered the eight-part limited series GOOD LORD BIRD from Blumhouse Television, based on the National Book Award-winning novel The Good Lord Bird by bestselling author James McBride. Oscar®, Golden Globe® and Tony® nominee Ethan Hawke will star as 19th-century abolitionist John Brown and is co-writing and executive producing with award-winning author and producer Mark Richard (The Ice at the Bottom of the World and Hell on Wheels). Emmy winner Anthony Hemingway (Underground) will direct and executive produce. GOOD LORD BIRD is told from the point of view of Onion, an enslaved teenager who becomes a member in Brown’s motley family during the time of Bleeding Kansas, eventually participating in the famous 1859 raid on the Army depot at Harpers Ferry. Brown’s raid failed to initiate the slave revolt he intended, but was the instigating event that started the Civil War.

CBS All Access’ True-Crime Drama Interrogation Starring Peter Saarsgard Begins Production
CBS All Access announced production has officially begun in Albuquerque, N.M., on INTERROGATION, a new true-crime series where the viewer becomes the detective. The series’ first nine episodes will be available to binge in any order with each episode structured around an interrogation. This multi-linear approach will give viewers the opportunity to follow their instincts and develop their own interpretations of the facts of the case and ultimately decide innocence or guilt. The shocking season finale will be released at a later date.The series stars Peter Sarsgaard, Kyle Gallner, Kodi Smit-McPhee and David Strathairn, and is based on a true story that spanned more than 30 years, in which a young man (Gallner) was charged and convicted of brutally murdering his mother.

Kirby Howell-Baptiste will star in the CBS All Access’ upcoming darkly comedic drama WHY WOMEN KILL. Howell-Baptiste joins previously announced cast members Lucy Liu, Ginnifer Goodwin, Sam Jaeger, Reid Scott and Alexandra Daddario.
Created by Marc Cherry (“Desperate Housewives,” “Devious Maids”), WHY WOMEN KILL details the lives of three women living in three different decades: a housewife in the ’60s, a socialite in the ’80s and a lawyer in 2018, each dealing with infidelity in their marriages. The series will examine how the roles of women have changed, but how their reaction to betrayal… has not.

NBC will premiere its top-rated summer series “America’s Got Talent” for its 14th season on Tuesday, May 28 (8-10 p.m. ET/PT). “America’s Got Talent” has remained summer’s No. 1 alternative show for 13 seasons. USA Network’s The Sinner Renewed for Season 3, Matt Bomer Joins Cast
USA Network announced a third season pickup of its critically acclaimed limited series, THE SINNER. Bill Pullman returns to reprise his role as Detective Harry Ambrose. Video: Witches Fight On the Front Lines in Freeform’s New Drama Motherland: Fort Salem
Freeform announced that it has picked up to series “Motherland: Fort Salem,” a one-hour drama from executive producers Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Kevin Messick, for ten episodes. The series, created by Eliot Laurence (who also created “Claws”), is set in an alternate, present-day America where witches ended their persecution 300 years ago by cutting a deal with the U.S. government to fight for their country. “Motherland: Fort Salem” follows three young women from basic training in combat magic into terrifying and thrilling early deployment. In this world, the traditional roles of gender and power are flipped with women on the front lines, the fight looming and terrorist threats that are strikingly familiar to our world, but with supernatural tactics and weapons.

NBC RENEWS SUPERSTORE FOR FIFTH SEASON
NBC has renewed its critically applauded comedy SUPERSTORE for a fifth season. SUPERSTORE centers around Amy (America Ferrera), the store’s most stalwart employee as well as the glue holding the place together, and Jonah (Ben Feldman), a dreamer determined to prove work doesn’t have to be boring. Their fellow associates include the sardonic Garrett (Colton Dunn), sweet teenager Cheyenne (Nichole Bloom), and the ambitious Mateo (Nico Santos). Overseeing the store is Glenn (Mark McKinney), the store’s affable, clueless store manager, and Dina (Lauren Ash), the aggressive assistant manager who enforces Cloud 9 policy with an iron fist.
