Dive Into Ocean Mysteries In Legends of the Deep Premiering June 9 on Science Channel
The mysteries that lurk beneath the surface of our planet’s vast bodies of water rival those that are in outer space. Now in a new Science Channel series, the sister and brother team of Céline and Fabien Cousteau carry on their family legacy as they set out to uncover tales from the sea that remain shrouded in mystery and secrecy. The four-episode LEGENDS OF THE DEEP premieres Sunday, June 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

ABC Picks Up New Original Game Show DON’T From Banijay Studios and EP Ryan Reynolds
ABC announced that the network has picked up “Don’t,” a new original game show created by Banijay Studios North America and executive produced by Ryan Reynolds. This comedic physical game follows one family of four who must work together throughout five mental and physical challenges with only one rule: Don’t. For example, “Don’t Slip,” “Don’t Forget,” “Don’t Laugh,” “Don’t Say It,” “Don’t Scream” and a slew of “Don’t” challenges you didn’t even know existed.

Starz Acquires Unprecedented Documentary Under the Wire About War Correspondent Marie Colvin and Photographer Paul Conroy
Starz, a Lionsgate company (NYSE: LGF.A, LGF.B), announced it has acquired from A+E Networks the feature drama-documentary Under the Wire from BAFTA-nominated director Chris Martin. Based on the book of the same name by Paul Conroy, Under The Wire tells the incredible story of his and Marie Colvin’s fateful mission – and Conroy’s epic battle to escape the city. Under the Wire will premiere on Monday, April 22nd at 9 PM ET/PT on STARZ.

LD Entertainment Reunites with Sean Ellis, Casts Boyd Holbrook, Kelly Reilly, and Alistair Petrie for Horror Film Eight For Silver
LD Entertainment announced they are reuniting with writer-director Sean Ellis (Anthropoid, Metro Manilla) to produce his original script EIGHT FOR SILVER. Boyd Holbrook (Narcos, Logan, The Free World), Kelly Reilly (Yellowstone, True Detective, Flight), and Alistair Petrie (Sex Education, The Night Manager, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), have been cast as the leads for the 19th century horror.
EIGHT FOR SILVER, a period piece set in the countryside of France, follows the story of John McBride (Holbrook), a pathologist assigned to determine if the body of a 14-year-old boy found in the woods is the work of a man or a beast.

Lifetime has ordered two new original movies for the network’s Ripped From The Headlines fall slate, centered on true life events. People’s Choice winner Alyson Hannigan stars in 53 Days: The Abduction of Mary Stauffer (working title), the harrowing true story of high school teacher Mary Stauffer and her eight-year old daughter, Beth, who are held captive for 53 days by a former student who was obsessed with her. Daphne Hoskins stars as Beth. The second movie, Saving Alex (working title), follows the journey of 15-year-old Alex Cooper, held against her will in a gay conversion therapy home. Saving Alex stars Addison Holley, Ian Lake and Sarah Booth.

ABC Picks Up Extreme Mini-Golf Competition Series Holey Moley From NBA Superstar Stephen Curry
ABC announced the network pickup of new extreme miniature golf competition series, “Holey Moley.” The first-of-its-kind, 10-episode mini-golf competition will showcase self-proclaimed mini-golf lovers from around the country as they compete head-to-head through an unparalleled, epic obstacle golf course. NBA superstar Stephen Curry will serve as executive producer, resident golf pro of the “Holey Moley” course and appear in every episode. Rounding out the on-camera talent is color commentator Rob Riggle, play-by-play commentator Joe Tessitore and sideline correspondent Jeanie Mai.

CBS’ Lip Sync to the Rescue Hosted By Cedric the Entertainer Coming Later This year
Inspired by the recent viral video phenomenon #LipSyncChallenge, featuring First Responsers posting Lip Sync videos and challenging other departments to the same, CBS announced a new one-hour entertainment special, LIP SYNC TO THE RESCUE, hosted by Cedric the Entertainer, star of CBS’ hit comedy THE NEIGHBORHOOD, to be broadcast later this year on the CBS Television Network.

During a fan-filled panel on Saturday, March 30 at WonderCon 2019, DreamWorks Animation debuted the season two trailer for its critically-acclaimed Netflix original series SHE-RA and the Princesses of Power. Panelists included executive producer Noelle Stevenson, Aimee Carrero (voice of Adora/She-Ra), AJ Michalka (voice of Catra), Marcus Scribner (voice of Bow), Karen Fukuhara (voice of Glimmer), Lauren Ash (voice of Scorpia), Merit Leighton (voice of Frosta) and moderator Dana Schwartz from Entertainment Weekly. Showtime Orders Spy Thriller Intelligence From Academy Award® Winner Mark Boal
SHOWTIME has given a series commitment and opened a writers room for the new spy thriller INTELLIGENCE, a real-world scripted drama series from Academy Award-winning filmmaker Mark Boal (The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty). Boal will write, direct and executive produce, marking the filmmaker’s first foray into television. The series, based on real stories from around the world, will explore the secret inner workings of power – how espionage intersects with politics, finance, media and Silicon Valley.
