The Final Betrayal – Season 6 of POWER Returns to Starz On August 25
Starz announced that the first chapter of its #1 hit series “Power,” created by Courtney A. Kemp, will close with The Final Betrayal. A heightened and unpredictable journey that raises the stakes yet again, Season 6 will play out over a super-sized, 15-episode season, premiering Sunday, August 25, 2019 on STARZ, the STARZ app and STARZ ON DEMAND.

Disney+ Streaming’s Original Movie Secret Society of Second Born Royals Announce Peyton Elizabeth Lee As Lead
Actress Peyton Elizabeth Lee, lauded for her role on the acclaimed Disney Channel series “Andi Mack,” has won the lead role in the original movie “Secret Society of Second Born Royals,” a contemporary princess story for Disney+, the upcoming streaming service. The movie will begin production this month in Toronto.
“Secret Society of Second Born Royals” introduces Sam (Peyton Lee), a rebellious princess second in line to the throne of the kingdom of Illyria. The movie follows Sam’s adventures at a top-secret training program for a new class of second born royals tasked with saving the world.
Also starring are Skylar Astin (“Pitch Perfect”) as James, Elodie Yung (“Daredevil”) as Queen Catherine, Ashley Liao as Princess Eleanor, and Noah Lomax as Mike.

FX and BBC One Partner on 3-Part Adaptation of A Christmas Carol Set For December 2019, Guy Pearce Stars As Ebenezer Scrooge
FX and BBC One are re-teaming with Ridley Scott’s Scott Free and Tom Hardy’s Hardy Son & Baker on a new three-part special of Charles Dickens’ timeless classic A Christmas Carol. A Christmas Carol features a star-studded ensemble cast including Guy Pearce (Mary Queen of Scots) playing Ebenezer Scrooge; Andy Serkis (Black Panther) as Ghost of Christmas Past; Stephen Graham (This Is England) as Jacob Marley; Charlotte Riley (Peaky Blinders) as Lottie; Joe Alwyn (The Favourite) as Bob Cratchit; Vinette Robinson (Doctor Who) as Mary Cratchit; Rutger Hauer (True Blood) as the Ghost of Christmas Future; Kayvan Novak (What We Do In The Shadows) as Ali Baba and Lenny Rush (Old Boys) as Tim Cratchit.

The new season of The Handmaid’s Tale premieres Wednesday, June 5. Veronica Mars premieres all episodes on Friday, July 26, only on Hulu.
