I appreciate the foray into the other survivors’ stories. Getting to know these strangers makes them closer to family in a way.

The Walking Dead - “Slabtown” Review. The Greater Good. 4

“Slabtown” is enjoyable even though the walker presence is close to nonexistent. The writers show us just what it means to never let your guard down.

I have high hopes the season will get its mojo working, getting TVD back to the show I know it can be.

The Originals –“Live and Let Die” Top Three Moments. All’s Well That Ends Well. 8

With Elijah stepping up to play mentor to baby vamp Gia, Marcel rebuilding his vampire family, and Klaus trying to murder anyone who pisses him off, this season of The Originals continues to get better with every episode.

The Walking Dead - “Four Walls and a Roof” Review. The Katana Has Returned. 9

Guess there’s nothing left to say but damn. I’m still in awe of what happens in “Four Walls and a Roof.” It has probably pushed the season five premiere out of the top spot for me.

The Originals –“Every Mother’s Son” Top Moments. Mother Knows Best. 11

I enjoyed “Every Mother’s Son.” I do have some concerns that Esther’s endgame will overshadow the other relationships on the show. I’m along for the ride and loving every minute though.

The Walking Dead – “Strangers” Review. Getting to Know You.

The Walking Dead - “Strangers” Review. Getting to Know You. 12

Too much happens in “Strangers” for me to come up with an adequate analysis of it all. I’ll say this much, the writers are keeping me intrigued. I don’t want to miss a single minute of any episode.

The Vampire Diaries – “Welcome to Paradise” Review. There's Always Room for Jell-O (Shots)! 13

Although “Welcome to Paradise” answers a few questions, it doesn’t satisfy my appetite for the TVD of old.

The Originals –“Alive and Kicking” Review. Sibling Rivalry.

The Originals –“Alive and Kicking” Review. Sibling Rivalry. 14

I enjoyed “Alive and Kicking.” Hayley is coming into her own, Klaus is going on the rampage, and new allies are being formed in the vamp community.

“No Sanctuary” takes it to the extreme. As season premieres go, I’m blown away.

The Vampire Diaries – “Yellow Ledbetter” Review. Crossword Puzzles Suck. 16

I can’t say “Yellow Ledbetter” redeems last season’s catastrophes but it’s definitely a step in the right direction.

With quite a few new faces joining The Originals this season, things are certainly looking up.

The Vampire Diaries – “I’ll Remember” Review. At Least Alaric is Back. 18

“I’ll Remember” isn’t the best season premiere but it isn’t the worst either. I’m getting used to having Alaric back, even if he bores the hell out of me.

I’m not overly impressed with the way things are going. I am looking forward to seeing the outcome of Darius’s plans. He isn’t afraid to take matters into his own hands, and I’m curious to see who the trigger man will be if the president ends up shot next week.

Outlander –“The Wedding” Review. The Key That Unlocks Jamie's Heart. 24

Outlander brings it on home with flesh, bums, and enough grunting to rival a woman squeezing into jeans two sizes too small. How does “The Wedding” fare with thee?
