Judy Manning

Dream chaser extraordinaire! Judy tends to be a tad sarcastic and kind of goofy! She is an avid admirer of all things supernatural, paranormal, celestial and mystical. She loves to read, write, and watches way too much TV. She enjoys many genres of film and music (and let's be honest, most music from the 80s). She also has a wicked sweet tooth. Cupcakes beware.

Among the revelations in the Netflix original documentary CUBA AND THE CAMERAMAN is [Fidel] Castro himself – unguarded, off-the-cuff, and unedited. In their numerous on-camera interviews, the cigar-chomping revolutionary affectionately called the straight-shooting [Jon] Alpert “The Journalist,” and showed a side of himself never seen publicly. Alpert was one of the last Americans to see Castro before his death.

Stranger Things Season 2 Premiere – “Madmax” Review. Arcades, The Upside Down, and More. 7

Stranger Things makes me so happy. Watching “Madmax” reminds why I fell in love with the series in the first place. “Madmax” sort of reintroduces us to the cast (as if we could forget them) picking up a year after the events that happened in season one in the “upside down.” Something wicked is in Hawkins, Indiana and I don’t know if everyone will make it out unscathed.

The Walking Dead Season 8 Premiere/ 100th Episode – “Mercy.” To Hope or Not. 11

As with many of The Walking Dead’s season premieres, the highly anticipated 100th episode “Mercy” is no different, being both cryptic and befuddling. Dotted with odd flash-forward sequences of a seemingly aged, crippled, and gray-haired Rick (Andrew Lincoln), many disjointed scenes going back and forth between the big pre-fight pep rally, and seeing a present-day Rick sporting red-rimmed eyes alone in a forest, I found myself absolutely confused yet I couldn’t look away.
