Dream chaser extraordinaire! Judy tends to be a tad sarcastic and kind of goofy! She is an avid admirer of all things supernatural, paranormal, celestial and mystical. She loves to read, write, and watches way too much TV. She enjoys many genres of film and music (and let's be honest, most music from the 80s). She also has a wicked sweet tooth. Cupcakes beware.

Recap: Resident Alien Season 1, Ep. 7 “The Green Glow” – Being Human Ain’t Easy

Resident Alien - Syfy

Resident Alien treks into more dangerous territory as Harry (Alan Tudyk) realizes someone has taken his ship and he still hasn’t found his humanity destroying device. But as “The Green Glow” progresses, things become increasingly complicated when Harry enlists the help of an unlikely ally in his search.

Recap: Resident Alien Season 1, Ep. 6 “Sexy Beast” – The General, Evil Coffee Pods, and New Doctor

Resident Alien - Syfy

“Sexy Beast” consists of Harry being jealous of the new hot doctor, finding more parts to his ship, and we also learn who the mysterious “General” is. There’s also lots of hilarious commentary on how “coffee pods” are “the Devil’s work” and so much more!

Recap: Snowpiercer S02, Ep 6. – “Many Miles From Snowpiercer” – Startling Revelations and Rats

Snowpiercer Season 2 key art - TNT

This week’s installment of Snowpiercer concentrates on Melanie Cavill (Jennifer Connelly) and her mission inside the research center located in the isolated Rocky Mountains. With her departure two episodes ago, everyone knew it could be a suicide mission as she braved the elements alone with little provisions, but what happens in “Many Miles From Snowpiercer” is harrowing, nerve wracking, brave, and revealing. And then there are the rats…

Recap: Resident Alien Season 1, Ep. 5 “Love Language” – Ex-Wife, Lies, and Sexy Time

Resident Alien - Syfy

Syfy’s Resident Alien, S01, Ep. 5 – “Love Language” starts with a flashback to when Harry (Alan Tudyk) was a human living in New York. We find out a bit about his background in these brief few minutes, including how wife number two, Isabelle (Elvy) came into his life.

Recap: Snowpiercer S02, Ep 5. – “Keep Hope Alive” Spies and Lies

Snowpiercer Season 2 key art - TNT

“Keep Hope Alive” may not have a PSA at the end, but it’s not for the faint of heart. I thought some disturbing things happened in “A Single Trade,” but I guess it’s par for the course in Snowpiercer. Lies, betrayal, spies, and death are all included in this revealing chapter.

Recap: Resident Alien Season 1, Ep. 4 “Bird’s of A Feather” – Crafty Kids, Evidence, and Revelations

Resident Alien - Syfy

The more I watch Resident Alien, the more I appreciate the intro and the variety of animated ‘how to’ guides pop up. Like how to use and not use a urinal. Vital things for aliens to learn. In “Bird’s of A Feather,” Max (Judah Prehn) thinks his parents are sitting him down to tell them they’re getting divorced. Nope, they just invited an alien to dinner.

Recap: Snowpiercer S02, Ep 4. – “A Single Trade” Night Car Confessions

Snowpiercer Season 2 key art - TNT

Snowpiercer – “A Single Trade” is definitely a ‘viewer discretion advised’ type of episode. Disturbing things happen throughout the episode, especially in the famous “Night Car” with our singular hostess Miss Audrey (Lena Hall) and her long-awaited guest, Mr. Joseph Wilford (Sean Bean).

Recap: Resident Alien Season 1, Ep. 3 “Secrets” – Dead Bodies, House Parties, and Cowboys

Resident Alien - Syfy

The key plot of “Secrets” lies in the lake. Now that a fisherman has caught himself a decaying, waterlogged foot, Harry is in a race to find the rest the body and properly dispose of it before anyone figures out. Easier said than done, right?

Recap: Snowpiercer S02, Ep 3. – “A Great Odyssey” Cold and Calculated

Snowpiercer Season 2 key art - TNT

“A Great Odyssey” begins with the enigmatic Mr. Wilford (Sean Bean) giving morning announcements aboard Big Alice. Like many announcements we have been privy too aboard Snowpiercer, more so in season one, Mr. Wilford encourages the passengers through thinly veiled threats against those on Snowpiercer.

Recap: Resident Alien Season 1, Ep. 2 “Homesick” – Therapy, Cows, and Bowling Balls

Resident Alien - Season 1, Ep. 2 - Homesick 005

Syfy’s Resident Alien is quickly becoming a favorite. The humor is absolutely hilarious thanks to clever writing, zinging one-liners, and the outstanding acting. “Homesick” made me literally laugh out loud even more than “Pilot.” This episode is full of therapy sessions, strange encounters with dairy cows, and murderous accidents that don’t pan out.

Recap: Snowpiercer S02, Ep 2. – “Smolder to Life” Ghosts of the Past and Earth’s Revival

Snowpiercer Season 2 - TNT

Season 2 of Snowpiercer is intense. It’s only episode 2, “Smolder to Life,” and things are certainly more dramatic and shocking than I anticipated. There is a specific scene that warrants a PSA at the end of the episode regarding suicide prevention. It’s f**ked up what happens and I am still a bit perplexed as to why it had to happen.

Review: Resident Alien Series Premiere “Pilot.” – Aliens, Whiskey, and a Murder.

Resident Alien - Syfy

Syfy’s Resident Alien is entertaining, darkly comedic, and full of sarcasm. I had no expectations before watching the series premiere “Pilot,” but I left excited and wanting more! Tudyk turns in a brilliant performance, as usual. His nuanced delivery of an alien adapting and pretending to be human is truly resplendent.

Review: Snowpiercer S02, Ep 1. – “The Time of Two Engines” Strange and Chilly Times Ahead

Snowpiercer Season 2 - TNT (featured)

Season 2 of Snowpiercer picks up immediately where the season 1 finale, “The Train Demanded Blood” and “994 Cars Long,” left off, and it is worth the wait! So many chilly (literally and figuratively) turn of events in just the season premiere; I am on pins and needles to see what unfolds over the second season.

Movie Review: Uncork’d Entertainment’s Driven, Starring Casey Dillard and Richard Speight Jr. Comedy, Yes. Horror-Thriller, Meh.

Driven Movie KeyArt_FINAL - Uncork'd Entertainment (featured)

One would expect Uncork’d Entertainment’s new comedy-horror-thriller film Driven to have some elements of well, horror and thrills, yet it’s the comedy aspect that overruns this mediocre film. Despite that statement, I didn’t hate it. Yes, there are tremendous plot holes and the script lacks in many ways; however, I couldn’t stop watching. I had to know what would happen to these characters.
